WE DO NOT ACCEPT THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:

  • Any item near or past its expiration date

  • Dented cans

  • Peanut butter

  • Condensed soups

  • Items that can be squished by cans: no Nutrigrain bars

 

Would you like to go the extra mile? 

When we receive food drive donations, we have to check loose items to make sure the expiration date has not passed. We also inventory the number of servings in each category: Protein, fruit (counted separately as fruit cups and as canned), oatmeal and snacks. If you would like to separate and count by the categories that would be amazing, but not at all required.
